Zimbabwean Born Comedian, Barry Hilton, jets into Africa after Sydney Opera House Performance

Fresh from his stellar performance at the world-renowned Sydney Opera House, Zimbabwean born comedian Barry Hilton, will be performing for one night only in Harare this Saturday.

Recipient of the 2014 Personality of the Year Award at the Zimbabwe Achievers Awards and a Comics Choice Lifetime Achiever Award, Barry has been sharing laughs across Africa and the globe for a whopping 30 years.

His universal appeal has created a global fan base and he is equally at home on the stages of Botswana, Swaziland, DRC, Zimbabwe, Mozambique and Namibia as he is on the stages of Dubai, Las Vegas, UK, Europe, Singapore, Australia, New Zealand, Hong Kong and Kuala Lumpur.

After what can only be described as one of the most successful careers in South African stand-up history, Barry Hilton shows no sign of slowing down.  He is a classic career artist – in an age of one-hit wonders, he keeps smashing records. While other artists stick to what they know, he is constantly finding new places to test his craft – Vegas, cruise-liners and the East – he’s a genuine craftsman.

With his phenomenal instincts and technical skill as a performer, Barry has always been ahead of the curve, bringing his A-game to every performance.  His new show, Evolver, sees him at his vibrant best showcasing brand new material – evidence of his unique ability to adapt, reinvent and evolve with the times.

In between, a punishing schedule of public shows that span the globe; he is also a corporate entertainer, motivational speaker and an actor who has raised the world’s laughter level considerably.
